«A fantasy about a dog and his life»
The play takes viewers into the fairytale world of dog life, where strange and extraordinary dogs are met at the bottom of the sea, on earth or in space.
In the sea scene, the dog Amphibius guards the underwater castle of the mermaid princess. At the same time, the scene also deals with an important environmental topic - the pollution of the seas and the impact of plastic waste on marine life. The fragility of the oceans is highlighted through puppet and object theater using props and puppets made from recycled plastic and found materials, giving the story a strong environmental message.
On earth, he is a friend of his hostess, with whom he travels, talks on the phone, and with his friends he flies into space!
Eva Laas is a puppeteer from Berlin. From 2025, he is a student at the Ernst Busch Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin.
Eva Laas makes her own dolls and objects and composes music for her productions. The arrangements are made by Eva Laas's husband Vsevolod Pozdejev, with whom she has a close artistic collaboration.
The play takes place in simple Estonian.
