Tribal Day in Narva

On 16 October, Rugodiv Cultural Centre in Narva will host a Finno-Ugric Day. In Estonia, Finno-Ugric Day is a national observance celebrated on the third Saturday of October.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the rich cultural heritage of the Finno-Ugric peoples, explore traditional Finno-Ugric recipes, and visit an exhibition dedicated to Finno-Ugric epics. Admission is free.

Programme:

14:00–16:30 Lecture and workshop on traditional Mari ornaments (in Russian, free; registration required)

16:00–18:00 Udmurt dumpling-making workshop (in Estonian and Russian, free; registration required)

18:30–20:00 Concert by the Udmurt ensemble Ošmes and folk dance workshop (free)
