In September, the performance "untitled [robot story]" by the British performing arts collective Conscript Theater premieres, which begins precisely on the border of Estonia and Russia in Narva.

The play tells the story of robotic war machines, memories and love.

In the near future, a battle robot wakes up with more memories than it should really have. A surveillance drone stays a little too long watching kitchens, showers and mountaintops.
A couple tries to understand what love means during the war.

But in reality, none of it is real.

What else is there to say in times like these? Is there any point anymore in telling fictional stories about real things? Haven't we kept the world at a safe distance long enough?

This new production, confusingly interweaving reality and fiction, is born on stage through the installation and use of creative technology, experimental sound and video composition, 3D animation, poetic text, dance and (some) acting.

This is Conscript Theatre's newest production. Conscript Theater is a hypermaterial performing arts collective that brings technological art to the stage, interweaving it with physical theatre, new dramaturgy and alternative dramaturgical forms.

The show is in English.

Performance duration: 2 hours
