On January 23, 2027, as part of the WINTER FEST festival in Narva-Jõesuu, skiing along the seashore will take place.
A 500-meter children's race is planned for children up to and including 10 years of age, 3 km for 11-13-year-olds, and a 5-km distance for everyone from 14 years of age, including veterans. The ride takes place in free technique: you can use both skating and classic technique, compete based on the result or cover the distance calmly at your own pace.
Each finisher will receive a commemorative WINTER SKI metal medal. In the 3 and 5 km distances, electronic timing is used and the best participants are awarded. Places are not assigned in the children's race — every child who finishes the distance gets a medal.
The start and finish are located on the sea beach of Narva-Jõesuu by the pier. The children's race starts at 1:30 p.m., and the 3 and 5 km joint start is at 2:00 p.m. Starting numbers will be issued from 12:00 to 13:30 at the starting campus, Suur-Lootsi 4, by the harbor.
After the finish, participants can visit the sauna for free and then stay for the WINTER FEST fair, winter activities and concert.
