Premiere "As the language, so the mind"
The production takes us to Ida-Virumaa and offers an opportunity to meet the local community - people with different backgrounds and native languages who share their personal experiences, feelings, and stories of living in Estonia and learning Estonian.
It is an exclusive insight into the perception of the Ida-Viru community, where we find clues to many pressing societal issues and perhaps also answers to why some things are exactly the way they are.
The production has been created in collaboration between the Estonian Language House of the Integration Foundation and Theatre Epiloog. It is part of non-formal language learning, where Estonian is learned and used through direct communication and a shared creative process.
