Conductor Rasmus Puur
Hiiu Kannel, also known as the Hiiuman Kannel, Swedish Swan, Swedish Kannel, Bowling, Swinging or TALHARPA is an instrument with a long history. Created in the 11th century in the British Isles, it probably reached Estonia through Scandinavia, mainly to Vormsi Island.
Thus, in our understanding, the instruments of the classical string orchestra with their ancestors will meet in the concert over the centuries. All historical concepts are turned on the head - the new one is old and the old is new.
In any case, Puulup does not seek to enter the world of academic music at this concert, but rather the challenge on the stage will be for young people with classical strings.
