The charm of the family

In front of you is one of the most poetic and deepest parts of the cultural project "The Family of the Family". This exhibition, dedicated to the chest decorations of Ukrainian women as defense frames.
What are their uniqueness?
Ukrainian jewelry has never been just ornaments. They protected the wearer, talked about his family and showed social status. They were worn not only for beauty, but also against evil forces, as the spiritual symbols that created the bond with the ancestors. Chorals, Siljans, Herdans, Crosses, Salbad, Amber Beads - Every detail has its own shape, story and meaning.
