The sea, music and ancient lights are a follow -up project for the Night of Ancient Lights in the Port of Toila in 2007.
The Night of Ancient Lights is an old Scandinavian tradition, according to which the lights were lit in the beaches to celebrate the end of the summer season, to confirm the sense of belonging, and to commemorate the departed souls.
The old tradition began to revive Finland when the ancient lights were again lit for the first time in 1992. It has moved across the Gulf of Botnia via the Åland Islands, the campfires are lit on the beaches of Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and Denmark, in Estonia on the Baltic Sea and also inland.

II Registration
Pre -registration to participate in the construction of sculptures until August 21, 2025

• Write down the name of the team /organization, the contact phone of the representative and the Mail.
• Car registration number (1 free parking space)
• 15 people in team participants.
• Prerequisite for participation in the competition: good mood and friendly mind. The will to spend one spirited day in the port of Toila.

• Materials provided by the organizers: straw and Reikad- fine wood material.
• Materials used in the competition: wood, paper, cardboard, straw, cord.
NB! NB! Strictly recommended not to use screws, nails, wire.
• Forbidden to use:
glass material

• The ignition material- the ignition fluid must be with the team.
• Each team must be equipped with first aid funds.
• Weatherproof clothes and gloves.
V Awarding and Evaluation
The best is selected by the jury of the competition.
The costumes of the team, the construction of the fire, the appearance of the sculpture, the introduction and the combustion process are evaluated. In addition, participation and result of athletic competition are taken into account ..
