The artistic director of the male choir is priest Ioanne Shenrock, who is also the creator of Logos (a.1990). The choir consists of 13 dedicated musicians who perform all over the world. The name of the choir Logos (word, thought, teaching in Greek) is deeply symbolic: with the help of words, we try to bring the meaning of the songs to the audience, convey spiritual and humane teaching, and create a connection between the audience and the musicians.
The basis of the repertoire is orthodox music, from older church hymns to modern works from different regions and traditions. In addition, they have performed programs that include European sacred music, world classics, Latvian music and Russian folk songs. The choir's repertoire is also diversified by cooperation with contemporary composers from the Baltic countries, Finland and Russia.
