+koor invites you to peek under the bark and take a fresh look at the choir scene!
Brand new choral works by composers and artists will be premiered at the concerts: Liisa Hõbepappel, Mari Kalkun, Märt-Matis Lill, Alika Milova, Maarja Nuut, Anett Tamm, Ramo Teder, Tom-Olaf Urb (Reket), Maria Kõrvits, Peeter Volkonski and Peeter Vähi.
You can hear it like this a cappella music as well as a choir with bass clarinet, synthesizer, accordion and electric guitar.
The concert is an imaginary follow-up to the project "Koorime laksi!", which took place in 2024, in which pop and jazz -musicians Madis Aesma, Maria Faust, Karl Kivastik, Marten Kuningas, Kaisa Kuslapuu, Leslie Laasner, Mihkel Raud, Bianca Rantala, Tanel Ruben, Jaan Pehk, Sten Šeripov and Iiris Vesik.
+choir is a musical ensemble that seeks and creates new ways to use the choir as an instrument. We have combined Estonian choral music with pop, jazz ’i, electronics and modern classics.
The conductor of the choir is Liisa Rahusoo.
