On September 26 at 5:00 p.m., we invite you to the Kohtla-Järve Cultural Center to the concert "Domestic melody".

Two musicians with great experience meet on stage, who are united not only by their professional journey but also by more than 30 years of joint music making.

Peeter Paemurru is a cello professor at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater and was the head of the string instrument department for a long time. He has given master classes in many parts of the world, worked as a professor at the Cairo Conservatory and for three years as concertmaster of the cello group of the Mexico City Philharmonic Orchestra.

Piia Paemurru works in the singing department of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater and was the concert master of the Vanemuine theater in 2016-2026.

Peeter and Piia have been making music together since 1995. The "Domumaine Viis" concert gives you the opportunity to enjoy chamber music performed by two experienced performers, whose decades of collaboration create a natural and sensitive musical dialogue on stage.
