In the Jõhvi city gallery, you can see the exhibition "Paintings and ceramics" by Tatjana Matskevič, an alumnus of the Kiviõli art school, from January 8.
From childhood, artists were like magicians to Tatiana. Even in their wildest dreams, they did not believe that they would reach their level with their own work. He liked to draw a lot, and his favorite teacher during school was the drawing teacher, whose suggestions he always tried to put into practice. At the Kiviõli art school, he attended a drawing class, and also participated in international competitions. It was a dream to study with the painting course teacher Aivar Rihkrand. When he picked up oil paints for the first time, he realized that it was the right choice for him. During her studies, she was supported by her family, who believed in her abilities more than Tatiana herself.
In the first exhibition of the city gallery, Tatjana has exhibited paintings in different techniques, styles and directions, as well as copies of the works of famous artists.
Under the glass, Tatjana introduces ceramics and hopes to be able to surprise and delight visitors with the entire exposition.
