A masterpiece that sounds modern "The Idiot" by F. M. Dostoevsky is one of the most provocative and most discussed novels in world literature, which still sounds fresh today. This is the story of a person who enters society with an open heart — and collides with its cruel rules.
About the production and the international cast Our theater presents a new vision of this masterpiece. We have brought together a strong international troupe of actors from Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine and Spain to create a living and pulsating space on stage.
Plot: A love triangle on the edge of possibility Prince Lev Myshkin returns from Switzerland to Russia, where he suddenly finds himself in a whirlwind of intrigue, vanity and broken destinies. The focus of the play is the love story of Prince Myshkin and his agonizing love triangle: he is torn between salvation and record, hope and destruction, trying to "fix" the fate of another person where it seems impossible.
A new look: without the heaviness We offer the opportunity to view Dostoevsky "on a large scale": here every look, pause and touch becomes an event. In our theater performance, the play sounds lighter and more engaging: we have removed excessive heaviness, added lively rhythm and subtle irony. Tension coexists here with kindness, and the finale does not leave us in despair, but gives faith in man and hope in the light.
