EAST VIRUMAA MIXED VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026
Guide for teams
Time : March 14, 2026. Start at 11 : 00.
Place : Jõhvi Sports Hall (Hariduse tn 5/2, Jõhvi, 41534 Ida-Viru County)
Purpose : To find out the champion of Ida-Virumaa in mixed volleyball.
Participants : The team size is up to 10 players. All members must live, study or work in Ida-Virumaa and/or belong to a sports club in Ida-Virumaa.
Entry fee : 50 euros per team (payment by invoice after pre-registration)

Rules :
- The team must have 3 men + 3 women on the field at the same time. A female player may not be replaced by a male player and vice versa. It is recommended to bring spare players, because if a player is absent, the competition cannot continue.
- The tournament is conducted on the basis of the current competition rules of volleyball with one difference : Male players may not block (or imitate the corresponding movement) an attack shot by a female player.
- It is played with a men's net (2.43 m).
- Disputes arising in the game will be resolved by the referee of this game.
Competition system :
- The system for conducting competitions depends on the number of participating teams and will be revealed after pre-registration. Detailed instructions will be sent to registered teams no later than March 10.
- Competitions take place in a tournament system of best of 3 games. In the case of six or more teams, the teams will be drawn into subgroups. A win gives 2 points, a loss 1 point and a withdrawal 0 points. In the event of a tie, the ranking is determined by the overall games ratio (games won/games lost), in the event of a tie, the overall game points ratio is compared. In the event of their equality, the ratio of the games between games and then the game points.

- All questions not specified in this guide will be resolved by Jõhvi Sports School or Volleyball Club Idablok.
- Each participant is responsible for his own state of health.
- All costs related to the competition (transportation, catering, etc.) are borne by the competitors themselves.
- The competition is open to the public. At public events, pictures and videos may be taken and later made public without the consent of the participants.
