During brainstorming sessions, we discover the living heritage of Ida-Virumaa and its opportunities to empower the community
Brainstorming sessions take place in the Maidla Public House (Maidla tee 56, Savala village, Lüganus parish, Ida-Virumaa)
February 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m
The purpose of brainstorming is to encourage participants to notice and preserve their spiritual heritage, to initiate discussions and initiatives related to spiritual heritage and its preservation and community support in their community. The spiritual heritage in our lives and around us is very rich. During brainstorming, we search and discover together what is the living heritage of me and my community, how can it be preserved, highlighted and how does it support the sustainability of my home place and region?
As good examples, we will hear the experiences of practitioners in keeping the living heritage of their community and the process of preparing an entry for the list of Estonian spiritual cultural heritage.
Target group
Members of communities and societies, leaders, employees of educational, memory and cultural institutions, tourism workers, culture and heritage enthusiasts.
