Cultural House Rugodiv invites you to a meeting in the form of a lively dialogue with textile artist Olga Loginova — a conversation about time, memory, the city and the batik language as a way of artistic thinking.

Olga Loginova started her professional career in Narva, at the Kreenholm finishing factory. Fourteen years of work in a collective of artists became for him a school of dialogue, joint search and decision-making — an experience that significantly influenced the development of his author's manuscript.

In parallel with his factory internship, he actively participated in the artistic life of Narva. In the 1990s, the city gallery became an important place of communication and exhibition, where batik gradually became the main form of artistic self-expression and textile panels became an independent workspace with shape, color and rhythm.

The themes of the works were born from everyday life and the environment: the industrial rhythm of Narva, historical architecture, the sense of space of a border town. Moving to Tallinn in 2003 opened a new stage — the change of city brought different intonations, plastic solutions and new themes.

Pedagogy became an important part of his professional path, deepening his interest in the process, the transmission of experience and intergenerational dialogue.

At the meeting, panels created in the batik technique from 1989-2008 will be discussed. These are not just exhibition works, but preserved pieces of time — memories of cities, collective work, teaching and the artist's journey, which continues and changes with life.

In Olga Loginova's work, batik is not a decorative craft, but a way of recording personal experience, memory and inner dialogue with the world.

An exhibition of Olga Loginova's batik works is open on the second floor of Kultuurimaja Rugodivi.
The exhibition is open until 01.02.2026.

Come to the exhibition and live conversation with the artist — we are waiting for you for a meeting and discussion!

Photo and video recording will take place during the event.
